Lucas Browne: "Like every well-managed fighter, Price has been tested enough for his skill level at the time and think that he now needs to go up against a big hitter and show that he can also take a hit as well as he can dish one out"

Matt Clark (Browne's Manager): "We certainly respect David Price. He's been exceptional since turning professional. He's yet to have his chin tested yet, though, and Lucas Browne will certainly do that"

Doubt this fight happens, Price would make short work of Browne IMO.

Better fight than Skelton or Audley.

He's talking about after one or two more fights. Price should have moved on by then and I'd expect Browne to pick up the vacant commonwealth belt.

Browne has power though, and if Price's chin is as bad as many on here claim, then I don't see how its a bad fight :conf

It is David price we are talking about - hardly the second coming of Ali.

    Browne KO3 for me.

Lucas Browne is NOT shite, some clueless bollocks on this thread and only HALF the story with the Browne quotes...

“If I have a few more fights and if I prepare myself correctly I will have a good chance of beating him,” Browne, 33, said.

Browne in a few fights could be a force...

Browne's reflexes are actually quite quick. He makes the most of opportunities in a fighters defence and loads up on those punches. The Rastani shot is a classic example. He doesnt move around unecessarily but can when needed which is actually a good trait for a HW to have. Economy of movement.

I would like to see Browne face a dangerous attacking fighter to see how he defends before he steps in with the likes of Price. His defence hasnt really been tested so far....But then I guess neither has Price's

How do you make an Aussie stop biting his nails? Make him wear shoes.

Seriously, who the **** is this Lucas Browne bloke? Never heard him but he looks like a fat doorman. If he fights Price he'll be so brain-damaged he won't survive the two-day flight back to Aus.

Classic ESB, happens all the time, take one quote out of context.

Good spelling to go with quality analysis! ;)

Cracking post. Well thought out, balanced and sensible. :good

Not sure if you're digging me out or not.
