I never heard of this guy before. I saw him on TMZ today and he said he was "close to a shot at Klitschko."

    He's 6'4 and has a record of 36-0 (34KO)

He is scheduled to fight Manny Quezada next apparently and has a 3rd round KO over Owen Beck.

He's won something called the N.A.B.A Heavyweight title and some other trinkets.

    Anyone know this guy?

he was out for a while. he got jumped by a couple of hoodies at a club, supposedly slashed his face with a knife.

Well he's not white but that's besides the point.
I was just interested in his skills.

    Georgi Kandelacki(sp)

I will save you guys the trouble; He was an undefeated Georgian heavyweight who retired undefeated and essentially untested, approximately ten years ago.

I do not believe he routinely tried to make a name for himself by constantly jmentioning the top heavyweights and claiming he cannot get a shot, like Rodriguez but I could be wrong.

heard him for while. not fussed. he isnt bothered about winning titles or fighting anybody of note.likes being the big fish.

exactly like faruq saleem, and exactly like malik scott but he did have injury's and got dropped from a high height by his management.

till he actually starts to compete in the ring instead of sparring. he should be given his dues.he sounds like a good honest guy. but he is not contending.

honestly when an formally retired cruiser like amir monsour, who is in his last years, nearing grandparent age. returns to the ring after 9 and a bit years away from the ring, to be in the top 15 in less than 2 years. with a year out due to a parole violation.
and now back in the mix...it's absurd to even conceive this guy doesnt have chances or is being blackballed. the u.s. has been starving for a u.s. contender. they got behind arreolla who had less experience.

Massive R hand. Throws it straight and loops it behind the guard.

Read that someone qustioned his D. It's pretty solid. He's a banger and likes to fight inside. Vicious body attack. Might be HWs best body puncher, but hard to gauge considering LOC. But staying inside allows for his opponents to catch him.
But his beard has so far come thru with flying colors. Beck tagged him. Davis tagged him, and Bispo, a smallish midlevel journeymen, landed flurries and didnt faze him. But from the outside, his D is as good as he need it to be.
He aint going the distance, and aint been rocked much less hurt.

So the fight with Quezadas back on?

That throat slashing and knee injury kept him out a couple fights, Quezada being one of em. But still, this hand BETTER be his last journeymen. He's turning 36, and maybe can fight til he's 42? He'd better **** or get off the pot, and this is coming from a fan.:deal

He is old journeyman who was protecting himself by hiding in Texas.
Dude got cut up by Mexican cartels for speaking out against them in el paso I beleive, and I'm glad that he has recovered and had some fights since.

I doubt he is on the level of Arreola in the world stage though.

If that is true then he has some major balls especially for taking on the bad dudes in their own backyard.
