Glad to see there are some sane people out there.

Geale has three wins which surpass all of Golovkins by a mile.

What Nobuhiro Ishida did when he beat James Kirkland was really impresive, but I don't see him doing it again against Gennady Golovkin.

    yup.
throwing the words "stay busy fight" in front of Ishida doesnt make this fight any less credible. Its down right embarrassing . by the way ishida is ranked #39 at middleweight :rofl

    This is a dreadful fight.

If it means Pirog in June, I'll tolerate it. Why doesn't he fight a c level middleweight instead of a c level light middleweight? At least Rosado was a decent top 15 light middleweight. Ishida is nowhere near that.

I'm a Golovkin fan but this is straight up bull****. Ishida would cost no more than the likes of decent middleweights like Brian Vera who said he wants GGG.

He's been fighting at 160 for 3 years now, beat Kirkland and Alvarez, and acquitted himself well enough against Williams. It's not great, but it gives GGG a look he hasn't seen before. I'll be disappointed if he can't get a top 10 guy after that, but Martin Murray seems all but locked up for the summer, and there's not an insignificant chance he'll face Andre Ward sometime this year.

I don't love the fight, but if r actually sticks to a 5 fight schedule like he says he wants to, there will be a couple of these mixed in.

And while Rosado isn't a middleweight, at least he earned the fight. It's not like the other top guys are chomping at the bit to face Golovkin, and Golovkin has made it perfectly clear he'll fight anyone, including Martinez or Ward.

I agree that this isn't the best matchup that could be made but Ishida actually has several wins at MW(most of them in Japan). He'll show up in peak condition and do his very best...what else can you ask for from a tune-up?
