I remember what i think was the 1st season, Manfredo Jr looked really bad yet was still given 2 or 3 more chances although he had been defeated. :patsch

Well it gave boxing Bundridge, Mora and Brewer. :think

I forgot Bika, and i'm sure there's a few others i can't recall who have been/still are contenders in pro boxing now.
I watched the 1st season and it just looked too much like a reality show to me.

Not a lot of fan favorites but at least it boosted these guys careers.

So to the question whether i would like it back or not, i choose not to choose. :D

The kickboxing one was ****ing great. The later boxing ones were too much like any reality show with all the backstory and such.

I loved the first season. Dana White did a good job taking the best elements of it for his Ultimate Wrestler show.

The light heavyweight and cruiser weight divisions would be best suited for the show. They suffer from a lack of exposure, wouldn't be too expensive to book, and feature normal size guys (they are relate-able to the audience.)

Alfonso Gomez was great in first season beating Manfredo 2 or 3 weights above him

Both multiple world title challengers. :deal

  15. I actually loved that show. I was never under any illusions about it... it was a reality show 100%, but look at what some of those guys did in the sport after that exposure. Some of them went from contender to champ, and some of them have made names for themselves as gatekeepers fighting on HBO, and scoring upsets on ESPN.

Bring it back and go back to the format of the first season, as IB said. Show us the fights unedited.
