I'll donate over the weekend pal. If I haven't by monday then shoot me a message as I definitely will.
You'll have to let me know how donating blood us, can't remember if I said but I watched the vid you posted on fb and I plan on doing it next week. Was supposed to be today but the place wouldn't answer the phone. Would you not fancy tough mudder?
Yo bumpy it's been **** the past two weeks, I've been going bed at 12 and then up at 4am for work then getting back at 4-5pm and going straight to the gym, it's only a two week thing so tomorrow will be my last day of it, it just confirms how important sleep is for recovery. Before that though it was going really well hitting new pbs on squats and bench. How's it going for you?
Yeah no sleep sucks. Trainings going good, altough just this week I've destroyed my big toe so I'll ned 1/2 weeks off, I'm starting to become addicted to Judo and MMA in general I'm gonna join my local MMA gym in the summer and train full time for a while hopefully
Would you train 5 days a week in UFC then, hoping to compete? I'd **** myself fighting like they do, just seems pretty brutal compared to boxing.
UFC guys probably train 5/6 days a week the same as a pro boxer I would guess, at the gym near me I know a couple of the lads and they train 5 days a week some are amateur some are pro. It is brutal I agree, and I dont know if I'd fight I''d have to see how I like the training first. Alot of guys in MMA argue that boxing is actually tougher on the body, due to the higher regularity of getting punched in the head, the fact you can take alot of punishment to the head get a standing 8 count and then carry on wheras a few flush punches in MMA and the ref stops it. I dunno man but for now I like learning and it keeps you in great shape while not getting tedious.
Suppose boxing is really more brutal but UFC looks more brutal, I don't watch it much but I've seen people get a few extra punches in after a ko and it looks horrible. Boxing or UFC though I respect anyone willing to get in the ring. Jdsm how was the blood giving?
Whats everyones flexibility like on here? Since starting judo I realised my lack of stretching over the years has been so bad, I now stretch after every bit of exercise I do. I think it helps me sleep in a wierd way also.
I've always been really flexible but I've noticed recently I'm losing it. I need to get doing yoga and just stretching a lot more.
It was fine mate. Near the end the blood was coming out too slow and the woman started messing with the needle and it felt a bit awkward and made me feel faint but I was fine once it was done, destroyed a couple of pop-tarts after :yep
mate I recently had my blood done on two different occasions within 3 weeks both times they had mucked up the first attempt, I HATE it.
