Just the bogus one at the start of the 4th or 5th. The ref didn't deduct one for Mollo's power shot like 2 seconds after the bell so perhaps it was just a way for him to correct what he failed to do earlier with that incident.
I just saw the fight. I know I know,we cant critice him because he's polish. God forbid. He does everything right! I have seen jabs, snapping jabs like Holmes, power jabs like Foreman and Wlad and **** jabs like Szpilka.
and yet the Polish posters here are critical of him :think I'm not saying his jab is like Holmes' or Wlad's, but he's finally started using it, in his previous fights he fought almoost exclusively with his left hand
Iv seen that used in a article or two before Not sure if it was the author's touch or something actually used.
I dont disagree there were moments where you can clearly see that Szpilka was questioning his own fortitude. He is very young and still extremly raw. Not championship material clearly with the Klits around but who knows what happens post Klits(if Szpilka even lasts that long). Again he is 23 with just 13 fights under his belt. If you are going to ***** about the ref's treatment of Mollo i strongly suggest you watch his fight against Golota...your opinion will quickly change. He will both win and lose fights in spectacular fasion in the coming years.
Ok fine he is using it but it's not much. A rangefinder. And none of the our Polish brothers are saying anything but biased crap. "He's got this and that and this and that and Mollo was dirty and blah blah blah..." Whatever,it was fun while it lasted.
He called out Mago and Wilder. If he's going to face some of the hardest hitters Mago might actually be better as a fellow southpaw he wont have to worry about being countered by a left hook over his jab or the cross through his guard. He needs to work on staying more consistant with his defense in general though. Zimnoch is a big enough test for now and the same level of prospect as the 3 of them imo.
Really impressed with Szpilka's jab. He took a massive hit and recovered real quick. This was a really good learning fight for him. What a ****ing knock out.
