Interesting fight. Geale takes it comfortably though. Unlike Sturm he has good legs and will avoid most of Solimans flurries
Geale by TKO. Soliman looked slow and off balance in the last three rounds and Geale would jump on that.
Just the other day I was saying how Sturm would have a real shot at Geale in the rematch. Boxing has to be the hardest sport to corredctly guage on a consistant basis.
That off balance thing Sam does I'm sure is an act. He does it in the later rounds of every fight I've ever seen, plays possum alot.
Another big Aussie fight for Geale. Good paydays for both fighters. Kudos to Soliman. He has been around for awhile and is a good fighter.
Mandatory is mandatory. It would be incredibly unfair to Soliman for him not to get in with Geale after gutting his way past Sturm in today's eliminator.
I thought so too. :!: Sturm regressed very badly, in fact this may have been his worst 2nd half fade-job yet.
Yeah but Geale doesn't have to fight Soliman next. He has like 6 months or more doesnt he? If he actually signed to fight Soliman next rather than a meaningful fight it would be a disappointment.
Soliman is good but Mundine is better.. and Geale just beat Mundine.. So noone in their right mind would think Soliman has a chance here.
