I don't really know if this physically makes sense, all I'm basing this on is that Frank fought Diaz and now GSP is fighting Diaz so they have to be at least NEAR the same size So GSP in his prime against Frank? GSP is faster, Frank is more experienced, and hits a lot harder I'm GSP is the heavy favorite, I'm just more interested in how the fight would go more so than who would win
Open and shut GSP UD. Cant take him down, wont out strike him, and Frank boiling down to 170 would be some Christian Bale type ****
This is the easiest question I've had to answer in months... and I'm including questions my 5 year old niece and 7 year old nephew ask me about if they can have some juice. Them asking me if they can have juice is a harder question than this one. Hell, asking me if it would be a good idea for someone to run full speed over a floor covered in broken glass is a harder question. How people have said Frank here is... wow. There isn't any version of Frank Shamrock that we've seen in a pro MMA fight that beats any version of GSP in any pro fight at any point in their careers, especially now. But if you want to play the game of, "Well, he would just do 'x'," then that is meaningless because then I could just say the same thing about any decent fighter... You're talking about the greatest welterweight in the history of the sport by a significant margin compared to a bigger guy who was not even close to as skilled. Not to say Frank wasn't skilled, of course he was, but compared to GSP? You're remarkably naïve to think Frank has anything on GSP. It would be like me trying to submit my BJJ instructor... I've been doing BJJ for a decent amount of time but as of now and perhaps for the remainder of my life, I will never really be able to submit him no matter how hard I try... he's just better at it than I am. Same here. GSP is just plain better.
you are out of your ****ing mind... so gsp can get ko'd by matt serra, arm barred by matt hughes, go life and death with bj penn and carlos condit but prime frank shamrock has no hope?? alright mate whatever you say..... :rofl the only thing gsp does better than frank by any significant margin is kick and thats it frank is bigger, stronger, feircer, has better slams, better submissions, at least equal if not better hands, a bigger heart and i would wager better conditioning. tell me this. do you honestly see gsp beating jeremy horn, bas rutten, dan henderson, tito ortiz and enson inoue?.... i mean really???.... frank shamrock was gsp before gsp was gsp. not that old man you saw wilt against nick diaz and cung le jesus christ some of the revisionist history that goes on in this joint :-(
