    Calzaghe was always quantity over quality, he was called a 'slapper' early, just re-watch the Eubank-Calzaghe fight and you'll hear it discussed in the commentary. His power was never massive, although he was heavyhanded

    If you're a Calzaghe fan, the most miraculous thing about him is the pace he fights at and the variation in that pace, which makes it hard to throw him off his rythm

    Power is by far and away the most overrated ability in boxing

    Can't imagine Calzaghe hitting harder than Benn tbh, but he is/was the better fighter and would of had his way with Benn in a H2H.

    Although I remember Eubank saying Calzaghe hits a lot harder than it looks.

    By all accounts Joe had respectable power, I'd say Froch and Kessler are bigger punchers than Joe, however it's Joe's delivery and speed that would cause problems, he floored Eubank because he hit him with a punch he never saw coming.

    The most difficult thing about Joe was disturbing his rhythm consistently to stop him fighting his fight, the closest anyone came to doing that was Hopkins.
