Oh hell naw. Trout getting overrated he's good, but I don't think much about his punch resistance. He'd look good 2-3 rounds tops, but once he feels that power he'll get on his bicycle and he's very hittable. Sergio by tko or wide UD. Trout was getting stunned and hurt by the worst version of Cotto.
Sergio took a miricle to beat ****ing Barker who simply used a stiff jab to keep him at distance and off balance. Kind of embarassing to be honest. Trout would have the stiff jab on him and his foot woork would see him always out of range. Sergio would be lost.
Barker is "Julian Jackson" compared to Trout's "Mallinaggi" Sergio would laugh thru Trout's punches @160.
For a shitty fighter, he handled the "number one JMW" pretty well. Anyway, Trout would be at a reach disadvantage and Martinez wouldn't be troubled him other than maybe his awkward, somewhat negative style. At 160 he'd destroy him, and 154 he'll beat him up to a UD at the very least.
Floyd is the number one Junior middleweight, Trout won 7 rounds running against a post Maywether Cotto who couldn't pull the trigger...... If a non right throwing Cotto had Trout damn near running whats he gonna do when Martinez make him taste that power Trout is just an ordinary fighter, in the fights I seen he's nothing special
cotto would have been knocked out by martinez , second sergio would use angles on trout all night , and lets not forget the jab martinez showed vs dzinzurik (who had a soilid jab) and took it away , martinez late tko
Martinez doesn't use angles, he is either out of your range or in it. he doesn't jab consistently enough and it is too lax workrate-wise to touch Trout. He is pretty much a one handed fighter and Trout would embarass him with his complete lack of boxing skill.
I don't understand how people really think Martinez could land cleanly on Trout. His defense is too good and movement and control of range superior.
