Aldo won more clear rounds than Edgar, and landed the harder shots in every round. The only reason this fight was competitive was because of Aldo's bad cardio. He was sucking wind at the end of the second, and started gassing half way through the third. That is when Edgar started being able to do some things. He couldn't do **** while Aldo was fresh.

Blame the gas tank. That's a fight. If you can't go five steady, your opponent gets back into it. No credit to Edgar though, more excuses.

See you guys at the next controversial decision where I can't help but feed the trolls.

Dana just revealed that Pettis texted him tonight saying he wants Aldo at 145.

    Thoughts?

I would love to see this, what a stand-up battle this would be. :admin

But i still think at the end of the day, that Aldo's leg kicks is gonna be the huge factor. :deal

Aldo will clearly win. But it'll be damn exciting.

So in your mind Edgar should essentially be 19-1, possessing one of the most formidable P4P resumes in the history of the sport, and be on a 10 fight win streak, the quality of which is on par with GSP?

oh yeah, he'd also be 7-0 in title fights and simultaneously hold both the 155 and 145 strap

I love the sarcasm...but all things considered, win, lose or draw, Frankie has an awesome resume

Not that I doubt you dispute that fella, but he probably has the best ''loses'' outside of Big Nog imo
