Does Overeem have no chin?

He ate some big shots

 

He doesn't have a great chin, and he doesn't react well to getting hit, but those punches were massive. Bigfoot throws with power.

To be fair Silva is a MONSTROUS puncher. He's a legitimate 300lb guy who has to squeeze himself into the 265lb limit. If Overeem doesn't want to respect his opponents power he clearly has to pay the price. That being said Overeems chin has always been poor. He's similar to Frank Bruno in that as soon as he gets hit and hurt he's like a dear in a headlight. He just doesn't have the wherewithal to circle or clinch when hurt, or take it to the ground.

 

More like no ****in defense... He won the first 2 rounds and could of won the fight if he didn't stand right in front of freak face with his hands down! FFS...

 

Andrei Arlovski traded punches with Bigfoot and went the distance. Arlovski's chin withstood. Overroid has no chin or stanima.

 

Yeah he must of been really rocked by the first shots because he does usually cover up well knowing his chin isnt the surdiest.

If you have a Chin your Defense really doesn't matter. Your Chin is your second line of Defense.

That being said I am not sure Overeem has a Glass Jaw. He does have a shaky Chin. To blame it on Defense is laughable though.

 

No I agree with slugger his defense sucked he just stood infront of him and let him swing for him he didnt even attempt to use his legs to get out of trouble it was stupidity.

His chin is horrible, and he can't recover from being rocked. When he gets hurt, the fight is usually over. I don't know why people would be surprised about what happened last night unless they'd never followed Overeem's career.

 

Overeem has no chin and more importantly, no heart.

The steroid monster also gasses easily.

Where have you ever seen him guts out a victory?
