****in clowns trying to claim Kessler's best performance was when he lost.
His best performance was after both Joe and Ward when he beat undefeated Froch.
The eye injury is a joke excuse. If he was seeing double he wouldn't of drove his car to the presser and wouldn't be able to distinguish between the ref and his opponent.

How was it good??? he was suffering double vision, its common knowledge. Ward's victory is not nearly on par with Calzaghe's, this is also common knowledge.

    According to who?

Kessler obviously did not think it was a problem otherwise he would not have entered the ss. His eyesight must have been good otherwise he would not have passed the eye tests.

Wasnt one of Alis most famous opponents fighting with one eye being blind.
I have read several stories of boxers fighting with eye trouble. I am not sure that Kesslers eye problems are completely better now, even if improved.
Still further to what you say, how do so many fighters fight having failed performance tests, which I would guess would come under medical examinations

Sorry its common knowledge, ive just remembered why i try to avoid any thread relating to Calzaghe, these thread evoke such strong emotion that people end up posting such stupid ****, anyone who dare post anything objective just gets lost within said ****. His performance against Froch was about heart and pure grit, very entertaining yes but a few years previous he would have handily outpointed Froch. Notice the punches were less refined, notice the distinct lack of footwork to create distance. The first four rounds against Calzaghe was the best Kessler has ever been, the timing was fantastic, his movement was dynamic, heck even his handspeed was a bit quicker than it is now. Even when Calzaghe had adjusted he was still making the rounds close. Are you honestly telling me a close WAR with Froch was his best performance? Eye injury a joke excuse, seriously???:patsch

It's comman knowledge to someone like Failey :lol: once Calzaghe's best win had been equalled by a green Ward the no show Joe fanboys had to try and downplay it so all of a sudden Kessler was suffering from some life threatening double vision but it's amazing they don't like to talk about the hand injury he was suffering from when Calzaghe beat him :oops:

    Easilly.

Calzaghe was WBO, WBA, IBF, WBC and The Ring Super Middleweight Champion and the Undisputed Super Middleweight King, and The Ring Light Heavyweight champion.

Ward is WBC and The Ring Super Middleweight Champion, former WBA Super Middleweight Champion and the current King of the division.

Ward has not held all the Super Middleweight Titles and he has not moved up to beat the top fighter in the Light Heavyweight titles to win a World Title there either.

    Frazier

And Futch (his trainer) said he did not know anything about it
Kessler obviously did not think his eyesight was an issue going in. Did he even mention having bad eyesight before losing to Ward?

The fact that he was undefeated when Calzaghe beat him means nothing. He had not fought anyone worth mentioning at that point.
Ward was also a green contender going into the Kessler fight - so that more than evens things up
Lacy and Reid were nothing special.
Mitchell, Eubank, Woodhall and Brewer were coming off losses and would achieve nothing worth mentioning post Calzaghe
Most of Calzaghes title defenses were with a lightly regarded belt against questionable opposition
    Your trying to hard
    Winner of the ss
    Ring magazine champ (already)
    voted fighter of 2011

Ward was injured. How is that ducking?
How did he avoid Dawson at lhw? Dawson said he could make 168 and Ward wanted to rack up another title defense

    Thats silly.
Bute said that Calzaghe was his dream fight and said he was willing to go to Wales to make it happen.

The smw division historically has been weak division since it was created.
According to who? Warrren and Calzaghe? Very neutral sources

Where did I say Froch was only a contender?

Calzaghe also dismissed Bute but I notice you have no problem with that.

I never claimed my tier system was perfect, but overall it has held up quite well:good

So you definition of the term "accomplishments" is opposition faced, not tasks achieved.
