Doesn't say much about Dirrell if he can't take out a bin man does it ?

So what Boone had Ward almost knocked out look where Ward is compared to him.

Where Froch is compared to Dirrell is the same story.

    :conf I was asleep.

I actually woke up in the middle of the night and thought "Wait! It's Saturday night!" and then realized the only attractions were Gomez vs. Lane on Fox (which pipe wrenched stepped up and did a RBR for), Dirrell vs. Gbenga, and the Puerto Rican PPV with Lopez & the Arroyo brothers in 1-sided squash matches. I promptly snuggled myself back up and caught up on some much needed rest. :yep

Of Dirrell pot-shotting a Ghanaian bum for half an hour?

Pretty far back on my watch list, even if there was.

True enough, but every moment an opponent is in the ring they are a danger. Dirrell would've looked a right tit if that Ungabunga guy had sparked him with a luck shot, all for the sake of 'getting some rounds in'. Add to that; Dirrell had before the bout expressed a desire to finish the fight early, to ensure he's in good condition to fight again soon. If the opponent is durable, fair enough, but it doesn't alter the fact he took a supposed top SMW the 10rd distance.

The thing that doesn't help Dirrell is that his fans on esb are probably the most annoying posters here. Dirrell is for them god and everything else is sh.it.

I don't know much about the guy Dirrell beat but the important thing for him was to get back in the ring and get some rounds in. This was his second fight in 3 years so the quality of his opponent wasn't overly important, just fighting again was.

I've read that he might face Roland Bryant in March, I'd say Bryant's a step up but still nothing to get excited about. If he does fight again in March than the quick turnaround is a good thing for Dirrell.

I'm just glad to see Dirrell back in the ring again. He's a top fighter if he sticks to it. Give him a couple tune-ups and I'd like to see him in a title fight or atleast some sort of eliminator by the end of the year.

Exactly...give him 3 low profile fights and and get back on espn, or maybe even showtime and see how he shapes up. By end of 2013 he should be back in the top 10 I would think

Yeah, I'm excited to see how he does against super durable Eric Crumble.

Where is PrinceN who taunted Froch and other European fighters because their fignts wasn't on Showtime and pretented Dirrell would fight on HBO ? Good luck to Andre, it will be a hard task though, he should start by running away from 50.
