Ahh good not just me then. Iv never liked watching Edgar fight. He fights like a pesky Mosquito that won't leave your bedroom. Lord knows what Rogans love affair is with him. As Aldo owned him.
He's just doing what his bosses tell him to. It's no different than all of the biased cheerleading of the house fighters on HBO. They've been trying to push this bull**** "Edgar is the Arturo Gatti of MMA" meme for a while now. White said as much at the press conference last night.
O don't get it twisted i'm well aware of Rogans M.O. Its just brand marketing. But only a fool would fall for that crap. The mere fact they have to keep using boxing example as leverage only proves how juvenile these comparisons really are.
I like Rogan I think he's a cool guy but he is beginning to grate on me, as far as commentators go I love the voice I think hes awsome.
Rashad isn't garbage. Just didn't have a plan B b last night, to deal with Nog's boxing footwork. Nog controlled the distance most of the time. Rashad didn't seem to even be able to get close enough for any good shots, and seems slow on the trigger with the hands, Nog would simply keep the distance when Rashad tried to set something up.
No he really is garbage. He's a negative horrible fighter. Who thinks his cute but spends more time shuffling, juking, feinting and trying to be cute than actually fighting. Rashad simply isn't half as good as his made out to be by the UFC.
Nog's boxing footwork was the issue for Rashad. This wasn't the Nog from the Bader fight. This was a Nog light on his feet, controlling the distance.
If GSP were to keep winning, it would be Hendricks after Diaz, if Hendricks beats Ellenberger, but then Maia would seem a logical opponent. If Diaz beats GSP, you wonder about a rematch and then Hendricks, so Maia would be waiting till 2014.
The Nog brothers are some of the most boring ****s to watch fight, and "Suger" ain't much better in the excitement stakes.
By boxing standards Nogs boxing has always been average. Bottom line is Rashad simply didn't do enough to win in a fight that was difficult to score and could easily have gone either way. It was just another typical boring Evans fight.
