    Mares is much more proven and has faced more mobile fighters. Russel Jr. looks really promising, but I don't see anything to suggest he'd keep Mares off of him.

    At this point Mares all the way, let GRJ get some quality wins and then we can have a real discussion. Right now there is nothing that shows GRJ can go 12 hard rounds against a very intelligent fighter like Mares, who has an arsenal of ways to attack.

    GRJ handlers not ready to put him in with Mares yet, but in the future it may happen.
