    You are not meant to raise your elbows and contact your opponent with them in boxing. Old rule but a good one. That's why the referee kept warning Mundine to stop doing it.

    Gee, I wonder what Mundine nuthugger this alt could be :think

    • Either you didn't see the fight and therefore are unaware of how dangerous Mundine's raised elbow was in both fights, so you ar ein no position to comment or;
    • You did see the fight and you think it's perfectly legal to raise your elbow to strike your opponent in an attempt to stop them attacking you or;
    • You're just a dumb mother****er hurhurhur!!!
    :thumbsup

    I'm not saying Mundine didn't lose the fight, there is no doubt he did. I actually think he was doing it on purpose in an attempt to be DQed... Big money was being payed out on a DQ win :good and Mundine was fouling A LOT, Not a common thing for Choc. Also it was happening more in the later stages of the fight, I think he knew he couldn't win and was getting desperate

    It is a defensive method, Mayweather has used it for year and years and only got warned in the Hatton fight, Mundine can't pul it off like Floyd.

    I was referring more to the use of his head in regards to being DQed

    Yes in the 3rd when Geale was getting a roll on and hurt him Mundine headbutted him stopping his momentum. He should have had a point deducted at the least.

    No mentioned was made by you or anyone else about him using his head above.

    "heaven forbid that he try and defend himself !!!"

    The discussion was about Mundine raising his elbows. Where did anyone make mention of his head :huh

    Personally I'd rather see neither. They have about as much appeal as Fenech vs Nelson IV.

    Daniel Geale schooled Anthony Mundine for virtually the full 12 rounds less than a week ago. Mundine showed nothing to suggest he can even be competitive against the younger, more talented Geale.

    Just watch the replay if you want to see Mundine cop another hiding :good
