Sure aslong as good fights get made but not when there's joint effort to duck and dodge.

I respect a fighter that has control of his or her own destiny. I think the final decision should be the fighters. Giving total control of your destiny to another man or woman is foolish.:bbb

 

I love when people get self righteous about this kind of thing.

I'm sure most people who post here would throw away a six or seven figure job with no other way to support themselves, just to stand up to their boss on general principle. Especially if they had invested years of excruciating work and they had come up from poverty.

90% of us, including me when I had a job, don't have nearly as much to lose as these guys. And when the boss says jump, we say "how high?" That's life, unless you are extremely fortunate.

I voted yes and as much as it ****ing irritates me when a fighter says it's up to the promoter i'll always give them respect for entering a boxing ring, but i'll rate them lower in terms of ATG status if they avoid all or most big challenges in their respective division.

 

Well, I make a modest living gambling now. Before that, I had a few crappy jobs. If the boss said to do something, I did it because I couldn't afford to lose them. And unlike a pro fighter, I didn't have a ten year window to make most of the money I'd make for my whole life.
