    Pretty risky.

For Jones' sake I'd love to see it. (although he looked **** against Byrne; really think he'd get up for the Brook rematch)

Doubt it. If anything it looked as if DA was completely underestimating Brook.

Twas mentioned when the fight was being talked about, that the fight will never happen and they will try and get Devon to vacate the belt, so Brook fights for the belt against easier opposition. Hearn knows its a gigantic step, considering who Brook has faced compared to Alexander and Brook has more of a chance of winning the belt if a fight was here and against lesser opposition.

This just may be the start of that process. Alexander backs out, claims injury, vacates belt, Brook fights somebody else, in the UK and for the vacant belt.

    Seen it all before.

You get what you pay for.

I hope I'm massively wrong, and the fight goes ahead, because its going to be a shutout for Alexander.

    Easy work.

They could have just let the fight go to purse bids and won it and Alexander would have vacated rather than come to the UK

I hope mate I really do. Alexander is gonna whoop Brook's ass, I can't wait to see Eddie Hearn's face.

    A HUMBLING REALITY CHECK!

    But will it happen? :think

I don't think Hearn would want that tbh. Do we know just how serious the injury is?

So what you're saying is that Hearn signed to fight Alexander with the intention of inflicting an injury on Alexander's bicep from the other side of the Atlantic severe enough to make him pull out of the fight, so that they can petition the IBF to strip him and then organise a fight for the vacant title?

Damn. New Age promoting is the ****!

Why is it so bad for a promoter to back his fighter? Especially if he makes good fights and takes risks with them?
