I said 'typical' not 'all' British fighters. You have to admit for the amount of Boxers you guys have on the World scene right now the majority of them have a Glass Jaw.

I have always said Calzaghe, Benn, and Eubank were great fighters and none of them get the proper credit they deserve.

Most of the people here that bag Calzaghe are British posters which I find odd the guy was a legit talent you don't go from 1990 to 2008 without losing a fight if you are not good. He should have left Warren around 2002 and his hand problems made him fight the way he did he had decent pop early in his career. Warren is at fault for Calzaghe not fighting outside the UK much quicker in his career.

I don't think I have ever seen fan support for a Boxer like Ricky Hatton had. I just think his lifestyle caught up to him and he just can't take a solid punch anymore he had a solid Chin for 95% of his career. I hope the guy retires and enjoys his family and money because he deserves it.

You need to stop with this british mentality thing though dude, even if it is a light hearted joke its very disrespectful. I admit a couple of our current top boxers have shaky chins, but there are also a fair few who have lesser skills but amazing chins and hearts. I dont see us as much different than any other nationality atm. I always agree with you on Calzaghe,Benn and Eubank, they were great fighters, especially in Calzaghes case, and hopefully people will warm more to them in time. :good

I am betting that people will warm up to Calzaghe in time like they did Lennox. You don't appreciate what they did until they have been gone a while.

yeah agreed he's got to go in and bang it out
most likely he will end up flat on his back looking up at the lights wondering wtf happened but still that's his only shot

Anyone who doesnt give Chris more than a puncher's chance against Haye is frankly a nutthugger. Haye has shown he can be rocked and Arreola has shown he can bang.

I cant understand why the British fans hate him so much. His fights are exciting and even if he does get ktfo by Vitali he will still probably make it exciting. Of course, these are the same trolls that cheer and sing for a man who is unconscious in the center of the ring.

A taste of his own medicine...GOOD.

Haye has turned out to be one of the biggest jokes in Boxing History.

    especially if Valuev KO's him:yep:yep:bbb:bbb

Haye must win by big time KO. If Haye has a tough fight or gets knocked down or wins on the card and especially losses, he will look bad, really bad:hey

Haye has put all this pressure on himself:deal

i wonder if Vitali offered the same contract to Cris Nipple as he did to Haye

that should tell us what he thinks of Cris Nipple in terms of the threat/lack he poses because he certainly thought Haye was the cookie monster to offer such a ridiculous contract

Unfortunately he doesn't give his all outside of the ring by staying in half way decent shape.

So when an opportunity comes at short notice, he is no way ready to perform to his best. At this point of his career, he makes David Tua at a similar stage look like a gym rat.

Haye had to win in by KO. "Old" Holyfield won and Valuev looks like a clown. Valuev could not land anything big of Holyfield because an 46 years old fighter was to fast for Valuev.
