The are big punchers up at 147, too.

At least at 140, his assets -- height, reach, respectable pop, etc -- are more advantageous, and he won't be outweighed by massive amounts, either.

I find it bizarre, too. Especially when Hunter himself has said Khan's making 140 ok and that he's not gonna' rush the jump up. Not to mention Khan's obsession with the Garcia rematch.

Or maybe they think they can have a dross opening fight then get a shot at Malinaggi who Khan has already beaten fairly convincingly and can't punch?

 

The Malignaggi rematch would be a joke. I really, really hope they don't try going for that.

brook/khan is pointless. they are both still young and should fight each other when kell is more established and brings more to the table. I personally believe khan would get stopped by brook.

so when matthysse moves to 147 khan drops back to 140, clever thinking by hunter :deal
