Rigo should have never stated publicly he wanted a bonus for KO'ing Nonito. I wouldn't be surprised if this stupidity didn't just get Vic his rematch. :patsch

Some will call it duck. The stupid ones. The more intelligent will say Rigo dug his own grave on this one by disrespecting the champ. Donaire knows Rigo will be there for his next fight and may well make him wait to teach him a little respect. :yep

Asking for a KO bonus is by no means direspectful.

Believe what you want. I think Rigo just talked himself out of a bout in favor of Vic. We'll see. If it happens, Rigo is to blame for the public bonus demand and his demand that someone else resolve his legal issues for him. I understand the legal issues but for him to sit back and say YOU guys take care of MY problems? Just like Boner when he missed weight and was quoted as saying, "Someone better make this right." How about some personal responsibility here?

you're pathetic. If Nonito gets butthurt and cries because Rigo wanted a KO bonus, then that's on him. He should ask for a KO bonus too

    What demands ? What's rigo demanding ?
Asking his promoters to make things clear so the fight doesn't get stop a week before the fight?
What has he asked nonito ?
    What are the double standards?
Is he asking for gloves, catch weights ?, venues? More money? Who walks to the ring first? Who got announced first? Ring size?
    Make more sense please

I can't believe you said that. WTF is $100K ko bonus if not more money? If I was Top Rank I'd say sure, let's make it $250K. Oh, by the way, the offer is now, $400K. Yes, I know what that adds up to. The figures were quite intentional.

Hermit, please, tell me when is Rigo demanding that bonus as a per condition for the fight? Show me the source, he asked about it and so should nonito ask for it.
It should be standard procedure to reward the winner by KO. Whatever amount.
Sometimes you lack yourself in a shell, I don't consider you a stupid poster like so many around here. Analyze the facts, and tell me what are rigo demands.

Rigo is the challenger and has begged for the fight. He then says he wants 13% more for doing his job when he is already getting a career high pay day. Personally if I were Donaire I would take that as a sign of disrespect and give Vic his rematch and let Rigo cool his heels until next fight at which time I would offer him less. Nonito has put in his time at the pro level and EARNED his position to call the shots so I wouldn't think less of him for doing so after the year he had last year. My honest opinion here.

I'm talking to a wall here.
You insist that rigo is demanding a 13 %, still don't have any source.
    I'm done here

Just show me where Rigo is saying he won't fight without a bonus.
I won't be surprise if nonito feels " offended " and goes after old, shot Vic.
Like he felt offended against wv2, lampley, montodecordoba and gbp.
Doesn't rigo has a glass jaw? Doesn't nonito hits hard?... What's the big deal?
Arum is the one who calls the shot with the money. If he feels that a KO will spice up the fight, what's the big deal?

I'd like to add the fact that he is not demanding a bigger payday here folks. Its IF and only IF he KO's Nonito. What's the big deal? Nonito should demand one too, it spices things up.

And its not like he is DEMANDING it, he just brought it to the attention of Gary Hyde that he would like a bonus if he KO's Donaire. Nothing wrong with that.
