How do you see Jones Sonnen?

I don't see Chael having much of anything for Jones. I reckon there are only two things he's got going for him.

One is one of the intangibles - he has balls. He'll press the fight and get in Jones' face, which is something nobody has really done in Jones' title reign.

Two, I think he's a natural LHW and was struggling with the cut in his last couple of fights. He looked terrible at the last couple of weigh-ins and seemed to gas quickly. Hopefully he'll be stronger and have better cardio without seemingly half-killing himself to make weight.

Even so, I think it's going to be an ugly night for Chael. He doesn't have one-punch knockout power or sudden nasty submissions, and I think at this stage you won't beat Jones without one of those two things. :conf

Chael gets brain damaged till he quits in some excusable way or gets stopped cold.

Hopefully this doesn't sell well at all. JJ' prime gets wasted here.

 

U do know he has faced guys like griffin and Bonnar who are huge light heavyweights ..
Size isn't a issue for a guy like silva who uses superior reflexes and attacking abilities to make his opponents look like pub brawlers at best

 

Joke of a fight. 2 MW's in a row is taking the **** with the talent at LHW.

 

Jones will win, but we are all going to enjoy the TUF with old Chael.

 

Like a waste of time...the guy should just retire and become full time broadcast ****** !

I don't think the fight will happen.

They are using the build-up to hype the tv show. One of them will get hurt. Most likely Sonnen.

 

Silva is faster, has better reflexes and strength id give to Silva due to him being able to finish both Bonnar and Belfort, tho he did front kick Belfort in the face and it was a knee to the mid section that was the end of Bonnar but he had him on ***** street several times before that from punches. But i suppose it could be because of better timing than Jones so no they dont have the same athletic abilities
