I didn't know Dean Francis made a comeback on the same card as his last fight. were you there?
How did he look?

 

He looked good, shaky in the opening three then totally dominant, could have taken Hugh out anytime after the fifth

 

really like this kid. so much better than those initial losses. i believe he was without a trainer for those fights and took the first four fights in six weeks. it would be great to see him work his way towards a genuine british title shot over the next few years, just though hard work and determination.

so much more rewarding being a fan of someone like that than being a 'fan' of someone like mayweather. unfortunately we dont have any local fighters like that here in france but i definitely will try and keep an eye on him.

 

I remember him showing up to fight Ronnie Heffron (who was being hyped to ****) and having to have a club trainer work his corner because he'd turned up on his own and he still put up a ****ing good show.

 

Yeh was a good effort against Heffron.

He has turned it round quite a bit, if he wins his next fight he'll have a positive record which he deserves and will be able to keep having winnable fights.

He also will have 2 titles, not highly regarded titles but they're still titles.

You won a lot of fans on here when you fought Heffron, Tony. There's been threads on your development ever since.

Those belts are a sign of your progression good luck mate.

 

good stuff, dont get a big head and dont be a daft **** with your money buying stupid **** like cars and clothes. put it all into property start at buying a very small one to rent out. you could have a good little career but it wont last for ever.
