It is a tool of the elite like all other journalism in the US.

Don't print what we want to see and we won't give you interviews. Which is why Boxing journalism was happy to pretend a fighter of Pac's level had any chance against Mayweather and it made sense not to drug test.

Are they that dumb or do they have an agenda?

That's a non sequitur. It supports the opposite, he's willing to fight anyone including guys that'll supposedly make him look bad.

Paulie is an expert, but "unbiased" is not a part of his job description. I know there's all kinds of issues with boxing journalism including those you listed, but that's the best we got. Guys like Al Bernstein and Farhood and the Ring crew, not all gym guys. These guys submitted a variety of scores for Pac JMM 1 and 2, for example Graham Houston scored 2 for JMM and 3 for Pac. Why weren't they so compliant then, or for Abril Rios, or any other robbery where the house guy got the win?

The point of the 2nd, 3rd and fourth fight was to have a definitive winner

and we got one in the 4th

No he isn't. Who? Who has he fought that wasn't the same come forward fighter and/or he didn't drain? He fought Bradley, Bradley boxed him, Bradley beat him. Ok it was controversial, but he didn't come back to avenge it.

Since when has journalism been "unbiased" as a rule? I can't speak on Paulie being unbiased. I can only speak on Paulie being an expert. I am not saying the guys you listed are nobodies, but honestly their opinion is no more/less valid than yours. Working for SHO/HBO is a different class than being a real journalist on a Boxing beat. They have more leeway than the average writer at a true print/electronic publication. A critical print journalist may find himself locked out of gyms.

I am not even a Bradley fan, but I find it funny that Bradley has shown the quality of his metal in many a fight dispatching many a hyped fighter, but now you guys discount him because he got the nod. Bradley stated he was hurt. OK. If he is no threat, get your belts back! That is what puts Pac back on top.:deal

All that being said, I will happily accept fights against top 5's at 140 or 147 though.

Well he fought his toughest rival 4 times. Barrera, Morales both pretty good boxers. Bradley is the best of the "boxer" around short of Floyd, and he didn't even make it competitive except in a far fringe opinion. It wasn't just controversial, it goes into the history books as a big time robbery, no two ways about it.

Marquez won the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fights, and KTFO Pac in the 4th by most people's accord.

Again, why a 5th fight? Money? Sure, but to set the record straight? For a 5th time? Why? Most people have Marquez winning the series, 4-0, or at best for Pac 3-1 in favor of JMM.

Why should 40 year old Marquez fight Pac again??? We all know he will get robbed if he doesn't KTFO Pac... Unless he gets the lions share or 50/50, no need for a 5th fight.

JMM proved to be a smarter fighter than Pacquiao 4 times.

That fight was such a BIG fail. People already forgot about it, and hardly anyone watched it.

Pac's stock started plummeting after the Clottey fight, and continued spiraling down performance after performance.

His refusal to take OSDT, and Arum's unwillingness to negotiate with GBP for a Mayweather fight ruined what Pac had as far as stock.

In the JMM fight, it seemed that 90% of the people who attended the fight were rooting for JMM.

    Think about that.
