sox in all fairness i think none of the middles will fight each other until late 2013 or early 2014....GGG and geale want everybody, sexy sergio is on a milk run and kid choc is wrapped up in wool..!
But Joe still had a major belt the WBO and broke the record for successful title defences of that title. Geale has lost the WBA has 4 successful defences of his IBF belt he has to keep his IBF belt. He has no back up and doesn't have the profile Joe had.
GGG has already stated he would fight geale. if geale dropped the belt due to ducking solomon, GGG and TV execs in the US would still want the fight as geale wouldnt be damaged. i cant see it happening though. he will just have to go through sam. is a hard fight to get motivated for i imagine. dangerous ground for geale. he is expected to win. unlikely he will KO sam.
None of us have mate, it pains me to say it, but Soliman is probably the most logical fight right now. :?
At the end of the day he should fight Sam now as GGG is fighting in march , easy coin and its all experience I guess , world title defence and all that .
Is Soliman trying to lure Mundine in? Say Mundine makes him an offer to fight for the right to be Geale's mandatory, and Geale offers Soliman step aside money - Sam could end up with a good amount of cash and (if he beats Mundine) still has a shot at Geale :think
I won't go that far, in fact all the hype about him initially made me track down his fights to see what all the fuss is. He's a good fighter for sure, but very overrated by many. To say he'll school Geale or any other MW is just fanboi talk. I don't see him as a beast, or anything else. He's beatable like all fighters are. I think Martinez and Geale can beat him.
