Floyd Mayweather vs. Devon Alexander!

This has to be a joke, even for Floyd. Devon f'n Alexander? Guerrero has a better shot, and he had next to 0. I doubt this happens, it'll do **** numbers.

 

Yet people will defend this fight.

 

Floyd just wants easy cash at this stage, he must feel he is not the same, fighting just for cash is dangerous.

 

if this gets official, i'm sure brook's fans (brits) will tune in to this fight.

 

I actually like the fight but it isn't PPV quality. There had better be one hell of a co-main or a deep undercard if they're gonna make people pay for this.

This is much worse than the ghost. That was acceptable. Devon is a boring fighter. He would probably run away from Floyd for 12 rounds. At least Robert will bring it.

 

I am confused. I don't understand the point of introducing a potential opponent as a front runner. Why not just introduce the ****ing fight? Does that mean Floyd still doesn't know who he's fighting??? If not, then why introduce Devon's name? But if he is fighting Devon, why not just announce the ****ing fight??

He's basically trying to see how bad the backlash will be. I actually think he will not pick alexander if he hears the backlash from fans and media. Floyd is a cherry picking ******.

 

I still don't understand how Ghost is a bad choice of opponent. There is, literally, NO OTHER WW worth fighting. Bradley's fighting some russian and is TR, so that fight's OUT. JMM I was extremely decisive, no need for a rematch.

No other WW is more threatening/worthy than Ghost. Does that mean Ghost can beat Floyd? I think Floyd will be favored. Does that mean Ghost's a bad opponent? All I'll say is: Ghost is the most legitimate threat @ 147 as of February 6th, 2013.

Fat dan thinks he may not. Maybe a negotiating tactic to make someone else get their ass in gear and drop some bull **** demands and sign the contract.

 

I'm kind of figuring the same thing. I'm still holding out for Ghost, tbh. Ghost/Floyd is my dreamfight for May 4th, assuming it won't be Canelo.

 

If this is the case he should just fight Kell Brook and be done with it
