Been following the guy since before the Atlanta Olympics and I honestly have no freakin clue who it will end up being, just a relatively long list of who said "NO". Klitschko is a global brand and if he wants to fight in April, rest assured they will get someone even if it ends up being Michael Grant.

I honestly would not even care if it was Grant, Oquendo or even Travis Walker. I simply like watching Klitschko fight and if the next generation is not accepting yet then WTF can anyone do about it?

Other than ***** and blame Wlad, of course!

Ortiz, Boytsov, Pianeta, Jennings and Solis are the probable opponents in the run.

Adamek, Fury still haven't signed for a fight so it's a possibility.

Povetkin, Helenius, Pulev are Sauerland fighters and there seems to be a lack of understanding in the relationship there. No fight made between them.

Oh, boy! Here comes another Fres-hater! Crawling out the woodwork again! :patsch I swear no fighter on this ENTIRE SITE has more haters than Fres Oquendo! I been saying this for YEARS. Just like when Wlad said in the Manila Standard he's "Aching to fight Oquendo" back in 2001! :-( He didn't show.

Fight is in like 9 days. If Banks wins then I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him being in the mix for a voluntary shot.

Who's corner would he be in??

I think if Mitchell wins, and wins big, that would be a sellable revenge fight, at least to the public. I still thought it was Fres though?

Why isn't any other champ in the sport taking voluntary after voluntary. Why is it just Wlad who only wants to feast on unranked bottom feeders?

    Mark this post.

    It WILL be Mitchell.

He'll KO Banks early, then on Monday, he'll be announced as the April 6th opponent.

My bad, Of course I meant Mitchell. If Mitchell wins then there's a chance Wlad could pick him for a voluntary shot. Banks has been on on the record saying he won't fight either of the brothers (outside of sparring).

Well why don't he just fight a heavy bag on April 6th? That is about all he has fought the last few years anyway. I'm sure his nuthuggers will still tune in to watch.

Boytsov is the best available option. Will he agree though?

Wow seems this is correct. "Heavyweight Johnathon Banks has suffered a thumb injury that will force him out of a Feb. 16 rematch with Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell, the latter of whom lost by second-round knockout to Banks in November."

So Banks - Mitchell is off.
