It's an interesting one. I've only seen the Munroe/Dunne and Booth fights involving Kiko, but I think if Frampton boxes clever he'll take a 4/5 point in favour UD.

Kiko should come to fight though and he has stepped into people's back yards before - look at the Dunne fight. I know Frampton's a classier fighter, but he should know not to stand and trade from this; you don't want to be getting caught clean with Kiko's hooks.

Frampton a near shutout. Kiko will be hard to stop, but i just can't see Frampton losing rounds to Martinez.

Irish boxing fans want a Frampton win by KO to avenge Dunne's devastating
    First round KO.

Martinez has improved a lot since his days against Munrow and Dunne.
I see this ending with a scare for Frampton and UD or possible late stoppage but nothing would surprise me. I definitely think Kiko is a big step up from anyone Frampton has faced before. In saying that, Frampton has the ring IQ to adjust mid way through a fight if its necessary.

kiko can tko/ko frampton and if i find decent odds that is what my bet will be.

i actually think Carl will win a tough fight on points but there will be no value there, so betting on kiko makes sense as he is the best opponent Frampton has fought.

I,m looking forward to this fight it should be an entertaining scrap whatever happens .

Got this feeling Frampton is going to make a huge statement by stopping Kiko in around Round 7 or 8.

I've not been the most complimentary of Frampton on this forum. It's not that I think he's ****, I just believe people are jumping the gun in saying he's a world champion in the making and that he'll crush Martinez, all because he beat a bunch of no-marks and a badly shot Molitor.

Personally, I can see Frampton winning a tight decision because it's in Ireland. Martinez is a serious knockout merchant and he'll give Carl a bloody tough fight if he shows up to win (which Steve Molitor clearly didn't do). I reckon we'll truly see how good he is or isn't in this fight.

If Frampton does stop Kiko or win a shut out decision then I'll finally take my hat off to him and get onboard the "Frampton is awesome" train. If Kiko knocks Carl out however then I won't be surprised.

Should this not be fairly comfortable for frampton?
I've not seen much of Kiko but ifhe lost twice to munroe he can't be all that good munroe wasn't the most skillfull boxer and frampton is quite good

Frampton will outclass him after a few tough moments, Kiko is not that much of a monster and he can be outboxed, Frampton is hardly as fragile as Dunne either is he?

I believe so if both guys come at their best, and not because Frampton beat Molitor lol. Let's face it, Kiko does not have the skill of Frampton, and take a close look at Kikos record, other than the obvious hammering Dunne in a round and the late win over a shot Booth, his KO's have come against nobodies with mostly negative records, so he's not this KO artist that some people make him out to be, but he is dangerous of course. Frampton is the clear favourite, despite it being a step up

Strange how this has taken a backseat to Selby vs. Lindsay all week, it's a legit main event by itself.

Maybe it's because most expect it to be a coming-out party for The Jackal, but IMO there is an element of very clear and present danger here.
