Quick question for the ESB detectives...
IF Floyd decides to go with Alexander will the WBC strip Mayweather?

Maybe, since Guerrero is interim I don't see no reason why uncle Jose wouldn't just elevate Ghost to full status after stripping Floyd

It was on the scene yesterday that, according to insiders, Guerrero hadn't made any financial demands that were likely to put the fight in danger. It sounded like he was happy to accept whatever was offered.

Why wouldn't the JMM fight sell? Now that JMM has crushed Pacquiao, people are willing and want to see that rematch....

A lot of posters here want to as well including myself

So many people in America/Mexico/Different parts of Europe (Britain mostly) want to see this match again now that Marquez can make WW comfortably

He should just try and fight JMM, it would be a huge fight and would sell.

    This.....................

Mayweather is trying knockdown someone's else potential purse down they could get from fighting him, likely Canelo or JMM, most likely the latter since JMM has recently told Arum and Manny to **** off

Why exactly is it fair? It's not like Guerrero will sell more PPVS than anyone else on the market.

Alexander will probably sell just as much. Let's not pretend Guerrero is some PPV extravaganza because he's not and he will never be.

2.5 million is what he's getting. Ortiz was a bigger name in 2011 than he is now, Ortiz got 2.5, Ghost will get 2.5

Because the hardcore fans want to see it.

The casual fans who make up most of the PPVs don't.

Casual fans remember Floyd holding back and lightly teeing off on Marquez. Casual fans remember Marquez being knocked with a simple left. And then watching Floyd easily outbox him for 12 rounds.

    Great rematch for hardcore fans.

Shitty rematch for casual fans. It won't sell.

I doubt it. The WBC loves PBF and PBF loves the WBC.

It will sell. Most casual fans don't remember what happened back in 2009. They usually only remember a fighter for what they did in their last bout. JMM just knocked Pacquiao the **** out, most casual fans want to see him knock Mayweather out as well, and therefore, they will pay for it. And pay hefty :).

If Pac/JMM 4 sold 1.2 million PPVS after PAC/JMM 3, Floyd/JMM will sell very well.

If you put on a decent undercard, it will do just as well as Cotto/May, possibly even more.

Some hardcore fans may find it a huge turnoff since May already shut him out back in 2009, but most other fans (Some hardcore, and almost all casual ones) want to see JMM knock Floyd's head off.
