They were selling the amazing fight he had against Berto and his will to fight in that fight. Not the story.

STFU trashcan. Ghost is in no position to make $500,000 let alone $4 million. You are trash

Victor Ortiz made 2.5 million and the exposure guaranteed him higher paydays in the future. he was scheduled to fight Berto in a rematch for 1.2 million and after that fell through, he was promised a Canelo fight on ppv.
But he lost to Lopez for 800K.

Guerrero is getting 2.5 million and the opportunity to make more money in the future and more big paydays.

Yea Ghost should really take it. There's more to it than the money. If he looks good, despite losing, he gains fans, mo money.

Ghost never even fought at 140 and he isn't exactly DOMINATING 147. He's had a win over Aydin (A fighter no ones ever heard of) and overrated Berto.

Their resumes are honestly very equal.

People may want to see Guerrero more because Guerrero brings more excitement in his fights while Alexander clinches/holds.

Still, almost no one knows Guerrero or Alexander!!!! They are not KNOWN at all and will not impact PPV sells in a positive manner!

Guerrero better be careful not to get greedy and price himself out.

The twat isn't even good enough to challenge Mayweather.

Ortiz got around 2m! Ortiz was coming off a more impressive win off Berto and is more exciting.

Honestly, do you think that if promoters thought it would buzz that they would be pushing Mayweather to take him on? Don't you think Mayweather himself would choose the fight? 40 million, another easy fight? :patsch

    Come on dude think.

That still doesn't mean casual fans dont remember the boring fight between Marquez and Mayweather where it was a 12-0 SHUT OUT.

Then they realize they fought and Marquez lost all 12 rounds vs a Mayweather who wasn't even giving it his all.

Pac Marquez 4 had history, controversy and close fights. Mayweather and Marquez have nothing.

    EVERYONE

Completely wrong. That's why Golden Boy isn't pushing for it, that's why Mayweather isn't pushing for it.

Has Marquez even said a word about it? :patsch

    Cause no one wants it.

Actually it was a combination of both if you didn't know

Even Floyd himself said "Golden Boy is replaying that same **** over and over again trying to sell the fight, Black parents leave their children all the time"

Not gonna read through 5 pages to see if anybody pointed out G is just earned the mandatory spot didn't he? What do you you think his share of 75/25 purse split would be? Probably MUCH MORE than $4 mill.

"Trying to sell" is the key there. Except that what sells to casual fans is Ortiz getting off his ass and putting Berto down and fighting hard.

What's funny is that I'm a Mayweather fan. But I'm sick of the retirements and these second rate fights now.

I'd say he should retire for good, but he's making too much to even consider that.
