we had a thread on conor a while back after he beat ivan buchinger in good fashion in december

from what i remember you guys thought highly of him, well he has just been signed today and first fight is against marcus brimage in sweden in april

great news for irish mma either way

    Excellent news.

Nice first fight, too. Brimage has put together some upset wins, but is a pretty small featherweight could be eaten alive by a more technical striker like Conor. Really looking forward to this.

id say they will be looking for a few wins from conor then bring an event back to dublin, they have been talking about it for a while now throw mcgregor on the card and it will make some noise within the irish media increasing popularity of the brand and sport

Brimmage is going to shut down another hype train.

Brimmage has really impressed me post-TUF, athletic striker type.

McGregor looks pinpoint and dangerous but this is a tough fight for him. Very interesting stuff.

Also, am I the only person who would rather see Lamas Vs Aldo than Pettis?!?!

Is there a more annoying and overused term in combat sports?
