Round 1

Hrgovic is jerking himself back as Joyce sprints toward him with jabs, and thrusting out his counter left jab even while stretched away. Joyce is jabbing and crossing, then lightly hooking. Joyce isn't getting a lot of speed or power on his shots but is stringing lots of them together. Hrgovic stays drawn back, and looses a bowstring right hand lead. Another nice pull-counter right by Hrgovic. Joyce is just slashing away with both arms, missing almost everything. Hrgovic bends out of the way as Joyce hustles in with double jabs. Hrgovic is finally caught by a couple of flush left jabs from Joyce. Hrgovic is backed into a corner, but jumps out with a 1-2. Another hard right cross to the chin by Hrgovic. Joyce is throwing lots of punches behind his jab coming forward. Nice head movement by Joyce, side to side, slipping the jab. Stiff shot by Joyce, shocking Hrgovic.

Round 2

Hrgovic is beating Joyce to the punch, putting in the 1-2 and then taking a double hop back. Big 1-2 by Hrgovic. Joyce keeps pumping his arms out the whole time, even while getting caught. Everything behind the jab from Joyce. Hrgovic is in and out, straights to the head and body. Clubbing right over the top by Hrgovic. Joyce hops around and brushes with his jab. Hrgovic keeps timing the slow jab with flush right hand leads, knocking Joyce's head back. Joyce tries a slow hook and gets knocked back by a hard left-right battering ram combo from Hrgovic. Big hook wound up by Joyce and he's countered by another 1-2. Both men land jabs on the inside. 1-2 by Joyce, putting Hrgovic on the ropes. Hrgovic slaps his way out with overhands. Hrgovic carries his hands low and winds up big shots. Joyce is caught by jabs and overhands while slowly pushing his jab.

Round 3

Hrgovic is hooking wide, behind Joyce's head. Joyce is tracking left and scoring with single left jabs, well-timed as he moves and measures the distance. Hrgovic leads with left hooks and crashes in with chopping rights, all hitting Joyce's forearms. 1-2 by Joyce, missing as Hrgovic weaves in loading up his overhand right but smothering himself falling in. Joyce keeps his foot in between Hrgovic's and backs him up with the jab. Hrgovic tosses out some clapping shots over the top but Joyce wobbles his neck to stay offline and puts in work with a double left hook to the body and head. Hrgovic hooks his way out of the pocket. Right hands by Joyce, backing Hrgovic up. Nice action. Slicing right by Joyce, missing. Hrgovic paws his jab, then lunges and misses with a right. Joyce spins him to the ropes and flurries.
