It's more than fair. Guerrero demanding 4 million is ridiculous. Marquez didn't make that much against Floyd and he was (and still is) a living legend. Hell, Mosley was the hottest commodity in boxing when they fought and he "only" made 7. That should keep things in perspective.

 

It's more about principle I believe. As soon as he gives in too this demand, he'll have some other nobody demanding 5, 6, 7 million. Once a precedent is set, it's set.

Exactly - Mayweather arguing over $1.5m when he's going to get over $30m. Guerrero has earned his shot at WW, ...sometimes you're not paying for the fanbase only, you're also paying for the quality of opponent as people want to see a contest.
