    manny pacquiao has a boss.

Floyd Mayweather is his own boss. Floyd dictates the terms. Everyone knows this.

It's more than fair. Guerrero demanding 4 million is ridiculous. Marquez didn't make that much against Floyd and he was (and still is) a living legend. Hell, Mosley was the hottest commodity in boxing when they fought and he "only" made 7. That should keep things in perspective.

It's more about principle I believe. As soon as he gives in too this demand, he'll have some other nobody demanding 5, 6, 7 million. Once a precedent is set, it's set.

He does not deserve 4 mil. Floyd offered him his biggest pay day and a chance at greatness.

People always look past quitting when there is an excuse behind it. Ortiz was considered a brass, young, naive, weight drained fighter at 140.

Void doesn't want to fight Guerrero....................he wants and easier fight..............watch and see..............Guerrero needs the money, Void does not. Guerrero has huge cancer bills piled up, so Void should give him as much as he can to help, but Void is void...............

Floyd DOES want to fight Guerrero. The problem is that he only wants to pay him 2.5 million.

Jeez, 20 pages in and you still don't know what the **** the thread is about. :patsch

He says sounding like a thick plank of wood without a hint of irony

It was a factual post, the Ghost is far more dangerous a fight than Alexander, it's a good matchup, Floyd wont take that fight.

Exactly - Mayweather arguing over $1.5m when he's going to get over $30m. Guerrero has earned his shot at WW, ...sometimes you're not paying for the fanbase only, you're also paying for the quality of opponent as people want to see a contest. Guerrero is worth that considering his performance against Berto and the fact he is the WBC mandatory challenger. Anyone who defends Floyd again is an idiot!

Floyd can't make money without an opponent in front of him so he needs to pay up. No one wants to watch Mayweather at MGM shadow boxing - actually I correct myself. If Floyd stated his shadow was a great fighter and it will be a great show his fans would still buy it on PPV, the idiots!

You can see exactly why the Pacquiao fight was never made - people still under the illusion of blaming Pacquiao are in dreamland - even Arum wasn't the biggest obstacle, it's Mayweather's greed and inflated opinion of himself
