Look at the way Povetkin takes him apart there like a young Mike Tyson. Very impressive. Rahman could never deal with the Russian style so any version of Rahman would have met his demise like that against Sasha.
Ali Vs Holmes 1980 - Ali wasn't just shot, I think Parkinsons was already very evident at that time. He was an incapable fighter at that point - at the very latest he should have quit after regaining the title from Leon Spinks in 1978 - the sensible time to quit would have been after the Thrilla in Manila The 2 years between spinks and Holmes saw a huge decline in Ali all round
Danny Williams is shot to bits and has been since the 1st John McDermott fight. Any half decent punch that lands his senses scramble. Same with Enzo aswell.
The weight loss didn't help either. If anything he looked better against Berbick than against Holmes (albeit inferior opposition).
Holyfield. Dude was done in 2003 when James Toney beat the living h*ll outta him and he still won't hang it up (needs the money, obviously). Antwun Echols also gets honorouable mention. To go from fighting Hopkins competitively around the turn of the millenium to his current state is just tragic.
in recent times...hasim rahman...that **** with povetkin made me really sad because in the interviews before the fight hasim sounded like he was damaged..actually here is the clip ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P5YFmzeHokg echols too..someone needs to revoke his license ASAP
I don't think Oscar was shot that time, just a weight drained idiot! Pac was a bit scared of him and openly said prior to the bout that Oscar might just kick his (Pac's) ass.
