I wish Chad worked on being more explosive with his punches. He'd mess up Pascal anytime he put speed behind his punches int he first fight and throw combinations.
Chad is stupid, he believes in running 100 miles every morning and avoiding weights like the plague. He looked like an explosive athlete around the Adamek to Johnson fight. Now he just looks like a weak slow guy who can throw an explosive combination once then needs another 4 rounds of poking and plodding around to recover. Just a stupid guy in general, I used to be a big fan.
This will be an interesting fight no doubt... Pascal coming off injury & Dawson off a BEATDOWN by Ward. I wonder how much phycological damage the Ward fight has done to Chad?
yeah exactly That's the a good way of putting it. Everything at a slow steady pace when he flourishes with bursts of speed.
Dawson is one of my favourite fighters but im gonna have to bet against him and put Pascal ko, Pascal was hittin him too easily in the first fight then after seein the Ward fight im not sure Dawsons chin can hold up
His biggest problem.There's not nearly enough snap to his punches as there should be for a guy with his speed. If he circled with a stiff jab and then exploded before re-setting, he'd look incredible. Instead he's just too complacent in his pace. He fought well against Hopkins, but his success was more about consistent volume than it was explosive offense.
