    :lol: It was just too obvious. I was thinking about the runner up.

    Tyson/Spinks they were both titlists....BUT Tyson was moreso the challenger in that one, IMO :think

    Burns/SquiresI

    Squires was unbeaten and seemingly, the 'real deal'; Burns the 'faux' champion post Jeffries.

    Of course after Louis/SchmelingII, Marciano/WalcottII and Ali/ListonII, there was this match up in 1988 between Tyson and Spinks; if you, unlike me, called Tyson 'champ' going in...

    Yeah, mostly Heavyweight territory for this. Was thinking Jones/Griffin II but alas Jones wasn't the champ.

    I think most thought Jackson was damaged goods going in, and so it proved.

    Th best I can think of, outside Heavyweight at the moment, is Hill/Kinchen...
