Did I mention anything about Wlad Byrd 1? No, I didn't did I?

 

Man, klittards must be devastated looking at the facts realizing that Haye, Byrd, Valuev, Ohner and so forth were correct all along. Still waiting for the first renown klittards to step up and say "yep, that's a slave contract all right". Not too hard an ordeal given the fact, that you're treated as a contender the next two fights even though you just earned the belt, is it?

FWIW, I believe that both brothers ARE truly good people. Their charitable work alone speaks for itself, and I wish Vitali nothing but success in his political career. Lord knows that Ukraine desperately needs his influence. However, their actions related to boxing, well that a completely different story.

 

You're autistic, so let me ask you as clear as possible: Did you leave out Byrd 1 because you knew Byrd got screwed over? How does that go with your notion that everybody's happy signing slave contracts under K2? Or did you merely imply that these exact fights were held under acceptable conditions and that you don't care what happend prior and after?

Byrd 1 was no mandatory unless a mandatory defence constitutes an immediate rematch clause with a different fighter from the same promoter which is fairly unlikely. If it were any other promoter, Byrd would've walked away with the title or granted Vitali a rematch at will. Either way, he would've been the legitimate champ and at liberty to do as he wishes. With the Klitschkos however, you're always going to have to succumb to their outrageous demands. They cling to their titles like parasites.

When Chris Byrd negotiated with the Klitschkos back in 2000 he didn't deal with the Klitschkos nor with K2. The Klitschkos were promoted by Klaus-Peter "Don" Kohl of Universum Boxing Promotion. Hence whatever Byrd said about "slave contracts" reflects upon Kohl & Universum, not upon the Klitschkos or K2. K2 did not become a Promotional Company until 2003. The first show K2 promoted was the April 24, 2004 show at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California (Vitali Klitschko vs Corrie Sanders).
