No chance anybody dominates Broner like Calxaghe Lacy .He's technically far to good,

I wouldn't disagree, but Vasquez even more so, and thats why you never heard Broner calling him out

Lateral movement is clearly the key to beating him. He's very Toney-esque in that respect, shortens his punches up really well and has a tight defence.

Footwork whilst on the attack.... brutal.

Burns has good footwork and a decent array of punches, can vary his jab nicely which would be key in this one. After that his best shot is the left to the body, but he'd have to put himself in Broner's range to get those off consistently, which would be a concern clearly.

DeMarco did alright in patches when he could stay outside, but couldn't do it and was chewed up pretty badly.

The key to doing well against him is to forget his antics and not want to try and kill him, you'd play into his hands that way.

Broner is rubbish, we get it. I expect nothing less from you MrNelson.

IMO Ricky Burns is quite possibly the best boxer we have ever seen, not only over here, but the whole world. Ever. And its all down to you Billy, every little precise detail, it is all down to you.

We are witnessing greatness, we wont know it till its gone!

Broner is a good fighter no more no less Burns and Vasquez would beat him IMO I don't hear the Gob saying he'd fight Ricky in the UK Craney but you have heard Ricky saying he'd fight boner over there!
Speaks volumes really don't you think

    Not this argument again?

    Common sense.

Answer me this Bill - If you are where its at, why would you go where its not?

Here's me thinking Ricky would jump at the chance at a big Vegas fight. A dream for any fighter in this day and age! But no, and your even using the "Broner won't come here" card. The fact is, Broner doesn't have to come here! He is holding the WBC strap.

We all know the game, If Ricky beats Vazquez, it'll be:

"The fight aint happening unless Adrien Broner comes to Scotland, because Ricky is holding two belts"

If you keep moving the goalposts, your gonna have holes all over the pitch!

And before some pissed up jock(s) infiltrate the thread, saying I'm trolling you and trying to get a rise out of you.

    I aint. :good

If Ricky wants the Broner fight? He should go to the US to prove himself at ELITE level, just like Gavin Rees has done. But lets be honest, doubts have clouded over Ricky Burns with plenty of people asking, does he REALLY want the Broner fight?

Not me, but people are asking the question. :good

He looks very, very good but the hype is a bit too much at the moment, needs to be tested.

He been tested, he has just been so dominant and ahead of the field, it seems like he aint.

De Marco was a credible fight against a top fighter at the weight. WBC champ. Many people were saying before the fight it was "no forgone conclusion" and "Adrien Broner could well get beat".

I said it would be easy work for Broner, and even I was wrong. He made it look easier than that!

    A schooling.

Then after the fight all the doubters came out with the excuses, after saying what they said before the fight, and now "De Marco is rubbish" etc etc

Every time Broner wins, people will try and play it down. :-(

I think he'll go on to be number 1 pound for pound. I cant see him getting seriously challenged until he moves up to welterweight.
