The worst i heard was when they were invited to share a bill with Golden Boy recently at the opening night at Barcelys center and told GB , if they were not allowed to promote the whole event themselves they had no interest.

Schaffer -“This is all part of a bigger picture. For the Klitschkos to think they can show up, steal the show for one night and then leave town and not show up again, they’re a bit naïve.”

Good that you're here, CHEF. Since you're an insider, can you tell me whether this is common in the business:

    - You beat the champ and get the belt but you are not at liberty to take the next steps yourself
    - Following your win over the champ, you have to fight a different boxer from the same promotional company and in case you beat him, you have to fight ex-champ #1 again
    - Even though you are the champion after beating a Klit for the first time, the Klits cash out on the rematches way more than you do because they get to promote the fights entirely on their own while your champ status is basically ignored? As to my knowledge that's unprecedented, but feel free to elaborate on why this isn't a slave clause.
    - Demanding outrageous fines for missed press conferences? In the article, Bonte says the Klits have obligations towards RTL and that a lot of money is involed. However, I'm sure there is at least as much money involed when Pac, Floyd or Cotto fight on HBO and I've never heard of Top Rank or GBP threatening people to fine them for hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It's three times. Also, you don't get to promote yourself in the rematches even though YOU are the champ.

I still wouldn't mind it as long as my compensation and percent of revenue for the rematches increased in ratio each time.

David Haye once mentioned something which, if true, is my favourite part of a standard K2 deal

K2 reserved the right to replace one brother with the other at short notice so Haye wasnt 100% sure which brother would be facing during his preparations.

Anyone who tries to defend this isn't a true boxing fan and is mildly ******ed.
