yeah I gave Cotto 2 rounds when I saw it live and then 3 the second time watching.
and yeah you make some good points especially about Floyd's body attack. I expected to see the right uppercut in the stomach all fight long

Excellent fight. I don't know why people thought Floyd was going to have an easy time? Floyd is FAR, FAR from a big puncher and Cotto is tougher than he is given credit for.

Had it 8-3-1 for Floyd.

I've had it 7-5 and 8-4 Mayweather on my last two viewings. Very competitive technical fight, with Mayweather edging most of the competitive rounds with cleaner punching. Those two made for a nice fight even though it took place with both on the decline.

I think Cotto did better vs Floyd than Bradley did vs Pac by a long shot.
Floyd still won pretty clearly though.

I watched the fight 10 times... I gave Cotto 6 rounds the first 5 times and 7 rounds when I watched it the last 5 times! Very close fight

9-3 easy for Floyd and he had to use pillow gloves. If Floyd was allowed to use the same equipment as Pac and Margarito did, it would have been the same result. Mayweather wanted 8oz gloves, ***** Cotto didn't want to get KTFO. I'm surprsed Cotto didn't ask for head gear too.
