Well at least this time they were trying to actually connect. More or less. Tony keep your hands up, with one arm extended and one at chest height you are basically defenceless. Tuck your chin, don't stick it out in the air. If the short fat guy had a bit more reach (or boxing savvy) he would have connected at will. When you jab, do so with more intention and retreat the arm as quick as possible. Keep the hand that isn't punching "on the phone". Don't narrow your stance when moving. Stand properly. You were "swimming" (like a crawling motion) when you threw more than one punch.
good points..i would say footwork as well....the kid/guy he was sparring was able to walk him into a corner...wasnt even reallly cutting off the ring...i would say mrtony needs to work his punches with his feet a bit more....

Man I thought this thread was hilarious on the first page I opened. I just read through the whole thing and I can't believe it, is mrtony clinically insane?
That video is a grown man against a kid. If this was being scored, the grown man would have won, but not because he has boxing ability. He was just moving backwards and picking the kid off with his reach advantage, which would have been moot if he had been in there with someone that height who knew what they were doing. Someone who knew what they were doing would have easily got underneath those jabs. Maybe he was holding back because he was against a kid? Even if that was what he was doing, the flaws are still easy to spot. Post a video with you against another grown man, mrtony.
