I still want Pac vs Floyd over any other fight.

for pac, i want pac-jmm 5 first and then pac-floyd.

 

it's clear JMM has pac's number stylistically, and will always be tough for him, depending on luck, like Mayorga Forrest or Forrest Mosley. Why again, except that it's a good fight? Need to mix it up like Benitez-Duran (easy UD fight for Benitez), Duran Moore (easy one sided destruction for Duran), Moore Benitez (easy beat down by Moore in a few rounds) because styles make fights.. I am not at all convinced Floyd will match up well against Pac, he almost always has to raise his hands and outbrawl left handers.

If you take away the JMM fights from history, Pac looks like a monster except for a "flukish" morales I win - if Cortez had waved off JMM I in round one, we would have a very different picture of Pac now, because Pac has been timed and is known inside out by JMM - part of making him hard to fight is really not experiencing that unorthodoxy before, and it takes time to adapt to.

Its lost its luster a long time ago, but i would still rather see it than Floyd vs chumps like Guerrero and Alexander.

you got a valid point there. yep pac vs jmm will always be a good fight. between the two (jmm and floyd), i rather want pac to fight the one who's very willing to fight him than the one which very difficult to make a fight.

Juan should take On Bradley & Pacquiao can try Mayweather both can try an avenge eachothers "L's"

 

As long as Pacquiao returns to form like he did for the 4th fight in his next bout or two, then it is absolutely the fight to make. Mayweather is not Marquez, Marquez is not the hurdle necessary for that fight to have merit and be competitive.

 

I dont , the fight losts all of its hype in late 2011 . PBF just wont give us what we want to see .

Floyd vs Pac is still the best fight out there for me.

But at one point around 2009/2010 it was a fight which would have trumped Leonard V Hagler in terms of excitement and build-up when you consider how supremely dominant both were. It doesn't quite have that anymore.

I still think it might get near that but ONLY if Pacquiao beats Marquez in September. As long as Mayweather can also continue producing his defensive 12 round decision wins then it might get to that point again.

I want to see PAcquiao v Marquez V first though - it's a sink or swim for Pacquiao
