I'll be watching. Broner is gonna TKO Rees before the 7th round. Won't be close. Does anyone know if the Bika fight will be shown after the rematch cancellation?
How BIG would it be IF Rees beats the **** out Broner @this stage in Adrien's career? (On the upset meter)
i think rees is going to give a good account of himself, his boxing skills are really underrated by a lot of people, that said i still think broner will stop him in the 10th
The main event is lame, but the undercard is decent. This content is protected 10 rounds - crossroads match, very important for either Chente or Cherry Bomb to make inroads back toward contention. This content is protected 12 rounds - less interesting, but Whittaker has sprung upsets before and Hopkins has underwhelmed. It's meant to be a showcase but could backfire. This content is protected 12 rounds - least interesting, but almost certain to produce a spectacularly vicious knockout (of Sjekloca) given their styles. Of course, I'm not sure any of those will be televised on the HBO broadcast. They've got a 10:30pm EST start time listed and only mentioned Broner vs. Rees on the event page at their website. (it was originally billed to be a doubleheader with Banks vs. Mitchell II, probably with an earlier start time) European TV should have more of the card, though.
I thought whittaker retired after rosado lol. He made me a fun during that fight. old as hell an crafty
He's back. Most recently he beat JC Martinez (tough journeyman; in the last several years he fought a shitload of prospects getting stopped only by MiniBurgos in a war and Mikey Garcia...and upset Bernabe Concepcion on FNF, should've been wider than shown on the cards) by MD10 last April.
Rees is a tough lad and I don't think it will be as easy a night for Broner as some people are predicting. Broner stoppage in the last 1/4 or a wide points decision but I think he'll get tagged once or twice along the way.
