forget "ducking" ..hate, pro haye whatever..... just at 42, everything he has done, politic career......

Haye needs to do what Briggs did to earn his title shot. Fail a drugs test and then beat 4 unranked guys with 25+ losses between them.

 

Yes, both stay in shape.... not perfect boxing shape... but weight is about the same just a little more fat and less muscle

makes my job easier then if they gained 20-30 lbs between fights

 

I predicted Pac would retire when he won election, and to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure that mentally he hasn't. Vitali's country faces some big challenges and if he takes that seriously he should not even think about boxing again.

 

BUT GUYS... when Vitali decides to do something...HE WILL DO IT 100%

so if he fights on against Haye....... Watch out Mr Haye... Vitali will be coming for you... That I can promise

 

Retire, very few guys leave the sport healthy & wealthy. He's on the decline & has a whole new career to focus on.

I'd love to see the Haye fight but if I was in his shoes I'd call it a day.

If it would shut Haye up and get him out of boxing I would like to see the fight. But it won't. Haye will make another stinker of it short of Vitali suffering another injury.

 

To be honest, as a boxing fan who just wants to see decent fights I'd like to see him fight on because I think Vitali in his current physical condition vs Haye is an interesting match up, and would provide a great summer event in a sold out football stadium with plenty of buzz. Plus it'd be a cracking laugh on this forum again, just like it was leading up to the Wlad fight.

However, if he retires I think it's because he knows himself better than anyone, and if he doesn't feel that at 42 he has what it takes mentally or physically to push himself 100% in camp and in a fight there's no point. You don't do boxing at less than 100%. There's nothing wrong with that, and it's not like Haye can say he didn't have the chance to take this fight before.

 

IMO he should take the haye fight and make it wembley. It will be by far his biggest payday and he literally cant lose. Even if he gets beaten in the fight he walks away with a huge sum and the respect he has imo not found fighting charr's.

Or that he feels he has more important work to do? Yeah we get jaded by politicians but the ones that really care can make a difference.
