Honestly, if I were Vitali I would go on the advice of Wlad on this one.

But yeah, as someone else said - I think if he does fight on it has to be Haye or nothing. People will go on about Haye not deserving it, or Vitali not owing him anything but that's not the point.

Apart from a Haye fight I don't really see much call for him to fight anyone else, in which case it'd actually hurt his reputation more to come back and fight some bum than it would never to fight again.

Exactly. Because I imagine that he believes that as long as he is 100% then he won't lose to anyone. The only question he has is does he have 100% physicality and 100% mentality.

Vitali said that was a dream for him to fight there.

Now is the time to do it.

It may sound a little cheeky/rude but next time you speak to him you could ask him if he has made a decision. Or would you tend to just let him decide in his own good time?

haha i didn't mean for our benefit or that he would ever reveal an answer. Nothing like "hurry up and tell me what you're doing!"

I thought you was asking CHEF to go up to him and say 'Vitali, the guys on ESB are growing a little impatient. Any chance you could tell me your plans for the future?'

If he calls me to ask my opinion, I will say something (dont ask what I would say:-()

but it really is up to him... I can say... we have talked about it over the last couple years... about when is enough enough... so for him to be deciding at this point is not a surprise to me.

I think its taking so much time because he doesnt want to be a guy who retires and comes back..... I know he already did that, but that was retirement due to injury...

this is retirement based on desire to fight on or not and for a guy who has been fighting and training for about 30 years, thats a hard decision to make... just like any athlete who thinks about it
