yes it's my thread and it shows I can analyze this **** much better than you. FFS, you think Rigondeaux has bad balance :patsch

go into any boxing gym and repeat those words and they'll kick your ass out

Rigondeaux can throw a good jab once and awhile. But he just doesn't do it often. The technique to his jab is nonexistent. His right hand is a slap and never turns his punch over. The only time he does it when he throws to the body. Yes, he is a southpaw but his right hand leaves much to be desired. His left hand is great but that's about it.

Rigondeaux just stands outside of the pocket and waits to jump you. He has no inside game, he drops his guard when he wants to land the left straight hand. He always telegraphs his punches, too. Rigondeaux throws his right to measure the timing for his left hand. When he does this he also leaves himself wide open.

His right hook and his jab is awful.

He is always open for jabs and hooks all the time. He's always open for the right hand. Donaire will see this and KO him.

It's sad that you can't ever talk without mentioning Mayweather or Pacquiao

and I try to be a fan of Donaire, but he's such a little whiny *****. And he lets the follow him inside the ring and he'll go fight stupid and extra cocky while looking dumb. I see how great he can be and give him props when need be, but he makes it tough

Idk why you can't bringing up the inside game. Donaire isn't going to take the fight on the inside.

and I admit that I get frustrated with Rigo's jab myself.

Rigondeaux wouldn't knock out Mathebula btw. You know that right?

he wouldn't get out landed by 100 punches either

Mathebula would beat Rigondeaux. Vasquez Jr would beat him, too. When Donaire beats Rigondeaux he's basically done nearly everything which has been asked of him.

Then maybe he could fight Abner Mares.

Rigondeaux has one thing going for him and that he's a southpaw. His body work can be effective but he loves staying on the outside and coming in and out. Once it's tangled in an inside game he has trouble.

If it's against the Teon Kennedy's of this world it's fine but when the competition is a bit better his bodywork can become fairly ineffective.

Rigo will want to unload and when he unloads he gets caught. Unless he runs away and stays cautious on the outside.

Or he stays in a shell like Narvaez did and Nishioka. If he stays in a shell and tries to time his left hand without using his right hand measuring stick then he could catch Donaire.

The thing is Donaire will know when Rigondeaux is setting up the left.

Rigondeaux is a great amatuer boxer who i think stayed in the ams too long. As he had no choice i believe. I think if he turned professional earlier and racked up more wins then the picture would be painted differently.

I think Rigondeaux's defense is not as good as Freddie Roach proclaims when he mentions Rigondeaux. I think Rigondeaux's flaws can be ignored to a certain extent if his chin was very good.

I don't think his chin is solid enough to be honest. The Marroquin fight was a tester for both guys but i believe he seemed wary and was shook by a lot of Marroquin's punchers. Who is not bum as he beat Gary Russell Jr and Broner in the ams. Amatuer bouts don't really mean much compared to the pro game. I guess you can gauge their skills but there's other attributes you don't get to take note of until fighters head to the pro game.

I don't mean disrespect but between your analysis and the ones of Roach, Shields , Salas,Rubio i will stick with theirs, they all have always praised Rigos skills , power and abilities to box.But you're entitled to your opinion and I respect it, even if includes that Rigo has bad balance.

He won't need to run against Donaire because Nonito doesn't throw punches.

Roach would praise him because he's a paid top rank employee. Roach doesn't know how to teach defense and all the stuff i have said is true.

Rigondeaux should retire after this fight.

Both are awesome fighters. Nonito tho only has the left hook for Rigo to neutralize while Rigo is more versatile, has more weapons to hurt Nonito. Thing is left hooks seem to bother Rigo alot I noticed that.
