Purrity was the only mediocre one. Sanders and Brewster pretty much had atg power.

 

He had stamina issues early on and he gassed and got hit by Brewster, he got caught cold by Sanders and gassed against Purity, Peter dropped him with 2 illegal blows and he got up. He got up vs Sanders and Brewster but I think the same opponents taken lightly (like he took them all ) could have surprised others. Sanders was avoided like the plague

Vlad took a good punch from Wach, he took a few good ones from Haye and Thompson in fight 1 and a few others, his problem was panic and he did not know how to tie up his man...I think he is more relaxed and that helps...remember Ali got dropped by Cooper and Sonny banks but as he aged took the best that Shavers, Foreman and others hit him with so maturity and learning how to relax may help greatly

He was about to be knocked out cold against Purity before some guy ran into the ring and stopped the fight...........Brewster sent him staggering from a jab early. He collapsed walking back to his corner without even taking a punch. One clean body ounch took the fight out of him.........He got up against Sanders because he didn't recieve a sustained attack and had only been in a fight for a few minutes.

 

Fresher Sanders put a worse beating on Rahman than he did Wlad, Rahman rally'd back and knocked him out.

Chins are best tested when they are hit. Did you know Wlad has the longest run of any champ without being floored. Doesn't mean he has a good chin. See how easy it is to be honest? I'm a Wald fan, and I know he does not have a good chin.

When Willard landed Johnson took the count. In fact Gunboat gave Johnson some " chin music " too and he could hit. So perhaps the best two punchers Johnson meet in the ring from 1909-1915 whacked him. Johnson facing smaller or older men, or guys who could not hit combined with his defense and clinching are reasons why he was not stopped more often.
