Nobody would ever land 4 out of 7 punch combo on Floyd.

Paul was way, way, way, way too reckless imo, he'd be caught so so many times flush by by Floyd it would be hard to score a 12 round fight for him.

The amount of pawed jabs he threw that have no intention of landing (or apparently measuring distance) but place him close enough to be countered is quite alarming.

I don't think Williams would land clean a lot, though his activity could possibly create a scenario where a few misguided people attempt to say he won the fight (ala Cotto), but at the end of the day I think Williams is far too defensively negligent, and Mayweather is far too defensively sound and accurate to se this as anything but a UD for Floyd.

Competative from the first till last due to Williams workrate & Chin, but Floyd comes out on top.

And he isn't forced to outbrawl Corley, he outboxes him easily. No way that bum lands clean left hands on Floyd over and over again.

at welter weight he'd just be too much. he wore people down and would have stopped mayweather. basically mayweather ducks every real challenge while the real challenges fight the best, until eventually they lose then mayweather fans come along oh well he's lost now that proves mayweather would have beaten him. from what i saw with williams, he had off nights where he didn't look focused but on his night he could have beaten anybody and he only really strugled with south paws. also lara is a lost bigger and stronger than mayweather, i'd fancy lara to beat cotto n give mayweather a really even fight at 154

exactly, corely did it, judah did it a lot of south paws have. mayweather hates pressure as well as has been seen against de la hoya castillo, even hatton. mayweather has never been good against south paws. all mayweather fans do is bring up a boxers worst ever performance and then say oh watch this fight, imagine him against mayweather, forgetting mayweather has looked crap himself a few times. he would have lost to williams at 154lb imo, probably 147 too

File this under the heading "Fights that Floyd would never take due to the risk of losing his O."

Paul Williams 100 punches a round could have very well troubled Floyd . I can envision Floyd winning on points . But whoever says Floyd wins easily , deep down inside they dont truly believe that . Most people look at the 1st Quintana fight as their argument of why Floyd would be the clear winner between the 2 . Williams had a off night in that fight , He didnt look anything like the Punisher that we knew . But when we look at the 2nd fight . Williams walk right threw Quintana and destroyed him in just "1" rnd . I see no ones mentioning that . In my eyes Williams had all the tools to take floyd 0 away . Sadly we would never know what would have happen if these 2 met up . 50/50 fight in my opinion . BUT if you put a gun to my head , my prediction would Williams by TKO .

this myth is so ****ing over played. Show me a poll where he beats Duran, Leonard, Hearns, SRR, or Witaker. That's just your dumb ******* excuse for why everybody picked him to beat Pacquiao
