Why didn't Floyd fight Mosley when he was younger? because Mosley was ducking

You guys accuse Floyd of this **** all the time. Imagine if Floyd had a response like this

How do you know he would have been favoured? Williams has been the favourite and lost a couple of times so really that's an irrelevant point anyways.

Based off imaginary fights which never happend you may or not be right. At the end of the day though Baldomir put in more work then most other WWs out there fighting guys in there back yard working his way to becoming a mandatory and a contender through his own hard work.

He deserved a shot and a pay day as much as anyone.

Thanks for a good laugh to start my work day. Are you drunk? You've been proven wrong multiple times in this thread, yet continue to say the same things.. On top of that, Floyd was fighting Champions, which in my opinion is better than the #1 contender..

Pacquiao is definitely not the same. Why do people ignore that Mayweather has been a WW since 2005 and in 2008/2009 Pacquiao was still coming up officially to WW

Climbed 2 divisions to fight DLH, the Cotto catchweight has been blown up by *****s. The Margarito fight was a bit pointless with the catchweight but it's still a risk as Margarito is so much bigger and had recently fought at 147...Mosley was a pointless fight but he couldn't have fought him earlier either so what's can he do there?

I'm not sure how he could have fought Cotto any earlier as the intention was that DLH was a 1 off and they intended to go back down to 135 or 140, which he did...

Pacquiao simply hasn't been in the division as long as Floyd

Because he was too busy cheating the weight at 130 and 135 coming in 16 lbs heavier on fight night. :yep

Haters like you though care alot about the timing when fighters are made. When Mayweather fought Cotto he may have not been at the highest point of his career but he was at a high point. Regaining his confidence and improving his conditioning leaps and bounds. Mayweather fighting Williams at the times you are talking about would be a bad times in Williams career and would be held as excuses.

But of course all you would do is flip flop. He fights Williams over Cotto you would be claiming he cherry picked a shot Williams over Cotto who was the #1 rated JMW.

"oscar weighs 162 pounds"(Weighted in the locker rooms)

This isn't meant to defend Manny, I think I've said to you before Oscar was 160 pounds against Chavez but couldn't find the proof at the moment.
So here it is now, in the second fight Oscar De la Hoya weighted 162 pounds against a man who couldn't go to 147 pounds while training.

I'm happy I finally backed my claim up.

You can laugh at Manny for cheating, but your pretty hero is just the same.

Makes me laugh people still praising Cotto's condition during Mayweather LOL Cotto was gun-shy by then, did not want a war, just look at the first 6 rounds and you can see for yourself.

Cotto's move to LightMid was a calculated move to get a belt in a weak division. No one was fooled, Trout made him look worse than Mayweather did. Cotto was a finished fighter by then looking for a last big payday - it was unbelievable how much Mayweather had to build him up during the press tour :patsch

He climbed two divisions to fight DLH at 147, a weight he hadn't seen for almost a decade. Who was more inconvenienced by the weight? Oscar was a zombie at the weigh-in and could only put on two pounds afterwards because of the trauma he had put his digestive tract through. Pac was actually heavier on fight night.

If the Cotto catchweight wasn a big deal, why did Team Pac insist upon it?

Margarito was done by the time he fought Pac and no longer had his plaster gloves.

...You do realize that you have now declared that both the Mosley and Margarito fights were "pointless", right? :patsch

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish here- Where do I claim that's a big oscar victory?
